Well now that the plan is to travel by bike, I also need good panniers to store my belongings that I will be taking with me. And on my quest checking out some YouTube videos I’ve learned a lot lately and the Ortlieb brand kept coming up. So yes, I managed to get a good deal on a pair via a online secondhand marketplace here in the Netherlands. And important to mention, all these panniers are waterproof. I must say… secondhand is the way to go, no need to waist money buying everything new.
Strangely enough, cycling brings me peace to mind.
I also got my hands on a Orlieb Rack-Pack waterproof duffel bag. But I was so excited about the price and the color that I forgot to look at the size. Well, it turned out a little too big… about 89 liter. Anyway, don’t worry, I’m going to try to sell it again or exchange it for the right size that I want.
Meanwhile last week I already cycled 50 km for the first time, quite a challenge considering the warm summer weather. But I did it! Strangely enough, cycling brings me peace to mind. More importantly it gets my x and the unpleasant events out of my head.
Anyway, I’m trying to expand my gear little by little and improve my long-distance endurance. Ps… I also ordered a Brooks saddle. I wonder if it’s comfortable ?

In the meantime I managed to sell the Ortlieb rack pack 89L which I thought was way too big and bought a 31L for it. And this one is more the size I was looking for. Not too big and not too small. I like!

I also sold the black rollers city classics panniers and just bought new Back-Roller Classic QL 2 .1 instead. I found out that the city classics panniers did not have an attachment point for the rack pack.
